August Bank Holiday in Ireland brings around many races. This year Plant Based AC athletes ventured to Garrafrauns, in the west of Ireland, where a challenging, hilly 6km road race is held annually. The race route is along quiet Irish country roads, away from the hussle and bussle of big towns and cities. There is always a great crowd at this race, it is a popular event and the road is lined with local spectators watching the competitors and cheering them on along the way.
Plant Based AC had a successful trip, bringing home a one/two, first male home and second female home. Well done to our racers and to all competitors on the day.
