Rachel raced the inaugural one mile race with Clonmel AC

In the 135th edition of this epic road race, two of our Plant Based AC athletes travelled to Glasnevin to race. Rachel and Lea both had strong performances. Lea finished the race as 4th male overall, and first in his age category. Rachel finished as 5th female overall and first in her age category. Well done Plant Based AC.

Plant Based AC travelled to Abbotstown along with athletes from all across Ireland. The race was on to compete in the National Cross Country Qualifier - to race and represent Ireland in the Five Nations Championships. Last year, Rachel qualified for the Irish subs bench, as in 2024 the numbers qualifying for men's and women's teams was not equal. However, Plant Based AC worked with others to have this addressed.
