European Master's Championships - October 2025

This month, we had two athletes take off to represent Ireland in the European Master's Championships. This championship event took place in Madeira, Portugal.
Our committed athletes entered two events each and both ran fantastic races, doing Ireland proud in their endeavors.
Rachel raced the women's 1500m, and secured third place and a bronze medal for Team Ireland. She also ran a new personal best in this event, doing her club and coach proud. She went on to race the 5000m track race as well, and put in a strong effort to finish in fourth position overall.
Lea raced the 1500m for his category too, and he finished in fourth position in a strong time of 4:16. Lea also raced the 5000m, where he finished in fifth place in a time of 16:20.
