Griffith Avenue Mile Race - September 2025

Plant Based AC returned to race the renowned Griffith Avenue mile race this year. This was our second year to compete in this distinguished, sell out event. Again this year, Griffith Avenue was full of supporters lining the route, clapping and cheering competitors on.  Dermot Bannon made a guest appearance too, to kick the race off – adding cheer and entertainment to the day.  The organisers did a fantastic job of the after party and awards ceremony.  There were plenty of food stalls set up for athletes to refuel from too.

Rachel finished in 5:00 and won her age category.  Lea also won his age category, and finished in a super time of 4:25.  We look forward to racing this again next year. If you would like to join us, get in contact now! We would love to hear from you and have you race with us.
