Plant Based AC travelled to the small country town of Remich in September where the Luxemburg National Championships 5k was being held. It made for an extremely competitve field and an electric atmosphere in the town. Remich really celebrates and supports this event, with many nationalities travelling to compete, Luxemburg's location and the ease of transport options, makes it quite attractive to many athletes.
There was a number of events on the day, including a half marathon, 10km and 5km road races. Our athletes completed in the 5km event, achieving super times and age graded wins in their respective fields. Well done to all our representatives, with Lea winning his category and Rachel winning hers also.
Huge congratulations to the Luxemburg champions declared on the day, it was a pleasure to visit and race with you all.
